Paraplanner Training
Paraplanners are an integral part of a Financial Planners armoury. They allow the Financial Planner to be more productive with their clients knowing that highly specialised and technical work is being completed with skill and diligence.
For that reason it is important that paraplanners are trained to the highest level in both technical knowledge and the skills required to be as effective as possible.
Technical Knowledge
Technical knowledge will be gained and increased in the following ways:
Examinations
CII – Diploma
CII – Advanced Diploma
IFP – Certified Financial Planner
Attend industry seminars provided by insurance companies and fund managers
Effective Paraplanning
Paraplanning is not just about being able to pass technical exams. To be effective as a paraplanner you also need to be able to have certain attributes, certain interpersonal skills and knowledge which is not just based around a technical CII exam.
From my extensive Financial Services experience, from experience as an adviser understanding what would be required from a paraplanner, and also from experience as a paraplanner and understanding the different requirements different advisers have, I have grown to understand the basic skills and attributes a paraplanner should have to be more effective for both themselves and the advisers they work with.
I have therefore developed the Effective Paraplanner™ course.
Aimed at Paraplanners of all experience and abilities, the course, completed over a 6 month period, will increase the effectiveness of you as a paraplanner, will enhance your abilities as a paraplanner and will ensure that you are a great asset to both you and your employer.
